Orders, Pricing and Payment
- Please make sure that all of the details you supply are accurate, because we will use them to communicate with you and to deliver your order.
- We will endeavour to supply you with the product you ordered, or offer you an alternative.
- Only the product description and price shown on your order are accurate; no advert forms any part of our sales contract with you. These Terms supersede any prior agreement, whether oral or written.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to assess the usefulness and/or suitability of any product purchased. ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED staff and literature will try to help you make a good decision, but ultimately the customer is in control of what they purchase.
- Prices change frequently in the computer sector, so customers are advised to check all details when making a purchase. Only your order confirmation will show exactly which products have been supplied and at which price.
- The prices on our website are excluding VAT. Our company is NOT VAT registered and we cannot provide a VAT invoice.
- Our prices do not include delivery charges where applicable; the amount payable and options available will be clearly shown at checkout and on the order confirmation page.
- Ownership of products passes from ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED to the customer when cleared funds have been received for the products (including delivery charges where appropriate), not before. The products shall be the customer’s responsibility from the time of delivery. If you do not pay for the products on time, and without limiting any other options available to us, ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED reserves the right to cancel or suspend any other order you have made until the outstanding amount is paid.
- If a price seems too good to be true, please confirm before ordering. If we discover a pricing error after taking the order, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not process your order until we have your instructions; if we cannot reach you using the contact details you provided, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you in writing.
- We do not disclose any personal information to third parties without authorization, and we use reasonable endeavours to protect any data we hold from unauthorized access.
- For security reasons or other concerns, ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED reserves the right to decline any order. If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be granted within 5–10 business days.
Digital Products (Software License Keys)
Most products sold on https://topkeyshop.com are digital license keys delivered to your email, typically within a few minutes of payment confirmation (and in any case normally within 24 hours).
Once your digital products have been sent to the email address you provided, or once a key has been activated or registered with the manufacturer, it cannot be returned or refunded for change-of-mind reasons. This is standard across the digital licensing industry and reflects the digital-content exception to the right of withdrawal described in the “Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal” section below.
If a key is faulty, invalid, or does not match its description, your protections under our Return and Refund Policy and Buyer Protection still apply in full.
Physical Products (Electronics)
Delivery
- For physical products, we can only deliver to the address where your credit/debit card is registered.
- Delivery times can vary; we always do our best. If you are not in when our courier calls, they will leave a card with contact details for the local depot so you can arrange a redelivery at a mutually convenient time.
Hardware Warranty
- Physical products supplied by ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED carry a 1-year hardware warranty from the date of delivery, which is not transferable. The warranty does not apply to any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, or negligence by you or any third party. Using the product in a way we do not recommend, failing to follow our instructions, or carrying out any alteration or repair without our prior written approval will also result in the loss of your warranty.
- ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED does not take responsibility for any loss of data due to software or hardware failure. To minimise the impact of this, please back up regularly.
- ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED does not take responsibility for any hardware brought to us to install into a custom-built system.
- Some products can appear to have a fault even when there is nothing physically wrong with them. Our engineers use industry-standard tests to ascertain the nature of any issues reported, and our warranty is for hardware only.
Faults and Defective Products
Please report any faults or issues as soon as you notice them, ideally by email including your order details. We will work with you to find the best solution, whether that means a repair or a replacement. Sometimes a product reaches “end of life” before developing a fault; where a repair or exact replacement is not possible, ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED will supply a replacement with similar performance characteristics. For example, with graphics cards, that might mean a more modern card that achieves similar (+/- 5%) 3D Mark 2011 scores to the faulty product.
If you purchase a system from ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED and later believe you have discovered a fault, we will remove any third-party hardware before we begin testing, bringing the machine back to the condition in which it was shipped, then perform our tests to confirm that the hardware works. Issues caused by hardware or software added after the original purchase date must be reported to the person or company that supplied them to you. ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED does not warrant that your system will work with any hardware or software that has not been supplied and installed by a trained ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED engineer.
Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal
Digital Products
Consumers have a 14-day right to cancel or withdraw from a distance contract. Because our license keys are digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate delivery and to acknowledge that this right is lost once your digital products have been sent to you. Before delivery, you may exercise the right at any time using our Withdrawal Request function, and we will confirm receipt by email. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.
Physical Products
Off-the-shelf physical products are covered by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Custom-built PC systems and products that are customised or made to order are exempt from the standard cancellation right to the extent permitted by those Regulations.
If you wish to cancel an order for a physical product under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, please notify us by email within 14 days of receipt, quoting your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. We will refund the price of the product(s) in full, including standard delivery, as soon as possible. You are responsible for the cost of returning the product(s) to us, and the goods must be returned in their original, re-saleable condition.
Custom-Built PCs
If you decide to cancel an order for a custom-built PC, we must be notified within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED reserves the right to charge a £35 cancellation fee, deducted directly from your refund, to cover components already allocated to your build.
Statutory Rights and Disclaimer
ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED is committed to honouring your statutory rights as a consumer, but we also disclaim any and all liability for the supply of goods and services to the maximum extent permitted by law. ONLINE COMPUTERS LONDON LIMITED cannot be held responsible for issues caused by an act of God or by third parties.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, including your right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. Nothing in these Terms removes those rights.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede any prior agreements.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.
